Last month I had a discussion with Rebecca Hanson, owner of Teleclass
International out of Victoria, Canada. We have both been working on the
idea that abundance is our natural state, and that most of us simply get
in our own way of having it. The solution is to change our thinking and
our beliefs to allow abundance in.
Here’s a correlation. It has been documented by experts in the field
of medicine that by changing ones beliefs about health, people have been
able to heal completely any and all disease in the body. Holistic practitioners
and eastern medicine have integrated these concepts into our culture showing
that when we work with the body, we become healed. Chiropractic, acupuncture,
and meditation have become mainstream. Dr. Andrew Weil, Dr. Bernie Siegel,
and Louise Hay have written many books about how the body is always trying
to get back to the balance it needs to be healthy. They believe that good
health is our natural state. There are thousands of case histories that
show how people from all over the world have been able to get back to
optimum health and balance by practicing mind/body concepts. What if it
is also true for abundance?
What I’ve learned is that sometimes we have blind spots and our
negative thinking can get in the way of our ability to allow the good
into our lives. One of my clients recently discovered that she doesn’t
trust herself. This was a huge revelation for her, and as we work together
to change this belief, she realizes now that she has been playing small
in the world. As a commercial real estate broker, she has the opportunity
to use her talents to help many people find the properties that are best
for them. In one of our sessions she said to me, “I realize now
that I’m the best kept secret.” What she means by this is
that she knows her business very well, is extremely good at it, and realizes
that she needs to spread the word about how good she is – getting
herself out there more, marketing more. She’s playing in a bigger
field now and allowing herself to prosper. As we learn to believe in ourselves,
we expand our thinking, and that’s what changes everything. When
we give ourselves permission to have our dreams, we change the way we
operate in the world. Is it possible that abundance is our natural state
just as it is with good health?
So, here’s what I’m starting to see . . . that by believing
that I am successful and that I can do and have anything I want, I’m
making better choices. Is it possible that by believing that abundance
is my natural state I’ve been able to double my income this year?
Yes, I believe it is!
Consider this . . . and it may be a leap of faith for you . . . that your
whole being wants to be in balance . . . abundance IS your natural state
and all you need to do is allow it in all areas of your life including
good health, great relationships, and financial success. And, anything
less than that is called lack or scarcity. If someone had told me these
things years ago, I would have thought they were crazy. However, as I
watch my own life change as well as the lives of my clients, I know there’s
something to this theory. Think about it. We are here to prosper, not
to suffer. And the pain and suffering comes from our limiting beliefs,
our blind spots.
Coaching can be a way for you to discover what your blind spots are. We
are deeply influenced by our thoughts. Change your thoughts; change your
life. I have also created a new teleclass that will help you understand
this concept better. It’s called: The Art of Allowing. For more
information, click on the link below for dates and times.
My discussion with Rebecca Hanson has triggered many thoughts and ideas,
which I am in the process of developing. We have both proven that by changing
our beliefs and practicing the art of allowing, positive change is certain.
We are getting back to our natural state of abundance in all areas of
our lives. And it is our passion to share this information with you!
