When Tragedy Strikes
The Law Of Attraction Can Help!

Some of you may have seen the movie, The Pursuit of Happiness, based on a true story. http://us.imdb.com/title/tt0454921/. In the movie, Chris Gardner, played by Will Smith, gets challenge after challenge. And as we watch this film we are horrified as Chris meets insurmountable odds. We get the feeling that just one more thing will break him. In one memorable scene, with his son asleep on his lap in a public bathroom in the subway, Chris does break. And yet, in that moment his heart opens. Throughout the whole ordeal he triumphs because he never stopped holding onto his dream. Day and night he studied to become a successful stockbroker in San Francisco, and the love of his child kept him going. This is the secret to winning.

Even in our darkest hours, some of us have found a way to pull ourselves out of the muck and allow our passion to help us achieve things we never thought were possible. Some of my clients have asked me, “Can I succeed even if I think I can’t?” My answer is a resounding, “Yes!” Here’s why . . . We are human! We have human emotions. We have self-doubt. We have moments of hopelessness. It’s part of being human. And yet we all have the ability to think better feeling thoughts no matter what is going on around us. The key is to remember that when your desire is strong enough, even with set backs, you can do whatever you set out to do.

When you study the Law of Attraction, you start becoming aware of all of the nuances it brings to the table of life. You hear conversations and stories in a different light. You watch movies and read books through different eyes. This is a powerful tool, and the miracles are everywhere. Your attitude changes, your beliefs change, and your life changes . . . forever.

So when you're dealing with stress or tragedy, here are some things to remember:

  1. Breathe! Quite often we forget to breathe.
  2. Take restful breaks whenever possible. Your mind and body needs this!
  3. Eat well and take care of your body through proper exercise.
  4. Keep your dream in front of you.
  5. Write down the things you’re grateful for everyday!

When I was 19 years old I read a poem that I will never forget:

“Even in the darkest hours of our lives
we can remember with comfort and assurance
that something of paradise is left.”

The Law of Attraction is a process. And the more you educate yourself about how it works, the more your life improves. For me, the best part is watching the miracles on a daily basis.
